It is indeed wool, but probably regular wool. The size is a bit tight but fits well; my weight is 62kg and I'm 177cm tall. It does itch a bit, which is common with wool fabrics during the first uses. The garment sheds some fibers in the first wash, and you need to know how to wash and dry it properly since it's made of wool. Overall, the product is good and very soft.
